In this session, I learned about CSS. I learned about the different ways you can format a page such as using in-line, external, and internal styles. External is a completely separate stylesheet, ending in a “.css”. Internal is in the style tag within the head tag on the actual HTML page. In-line is within a certain element tag like the paragraph tag, heading 1 tag, the link tag, etc. I also learned about how to make a comment on a CSS sheet. It was helpful to know since I like to make comments about certain things I want to remember or make note of. How this can help in the future is if I need to design the visual looks of a webpage to make it look nice and/or professional. It’ll also help knowing some elements like padding and border so that the page doesn’t go all the way to the left and right sides of the page, but instead of a border of empty space so it doesn’t appear to be going off the page.
